Item Description

Lidded basket with black ash splints that are dyed green, and woven with braided and twined sweetgrass. Lid has a small handle on top that is intricately woven. Inside of basket features a larger twined piece of sweetgrass which intentionally spirals from the bottom to the top of the basket. Tribal affiliation is currently undetermined, however, appears to be from the Northeast
